Pervez Pir is an accomplished executive reshaping the convenience-store landscape through strategic growth, operational excellence, and brand innovation. As President of Retail at Vintners Distributors, he leads the company’s flagship brands—Loop Neighborhood Markets and Poppy Market—both recognized for elevating convenience retail with modern design, curated food and beverage programs, and community-driven experiences.
Since joining Vintners in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer and later advancing to President of Retail, Pervez has guided the organization through significant expansion, integrating acquisitions, scaling multi-site operations, and driving consistent gains in profitability and customer engagement.
Under his leadership, Loop Neighborhood has grown to more than 60 locations across California, setting a new benchmark for convenience through sustainability, technology, and hospitality. Simultaneously, he has overseen the creation and rapid growth of Poppy Market, now exceeding 50 locations across Northern and Southern California.
In addition to his operational leadership, Pervez serves on multiple industry leadership councils, where he contributes to advancing innovation, collaboration, and best practices within the convenience and retail sectors.
