All owners and leadership from small and mid-sized convenience retail chains within the United States are strongly encouraged to attend. Larger chains are absolutely welcome if they are family-owned.
This is the industry event focused on small and mid-sized retailer success. Each attendee will be able to connect with their peers, engage suppliers eager to provide solutions, and strategize their operations with their teams before returning home.
Burning Issues is the term we use to describe the aspects of the industry that will impact operators around the country regardless of their size and location. Under the umbrella of each burning issue, the content team will create a plan to discuss the most timely or “burning” issues in a general session format. In 2024, the burning issues we focused on included Technology, Culture, Policy, Foodservice, Fuel, and Labor.
An Info Exchange is an intimate round table discussion. CStoreConnections will offer two thematic Info Exchanges at it’s annual events. Retail Leaders Exchange is the closed-door round table to retailers only. Groups of 10 – 15 will be assigned by the event team to ensure the groups are small and consist of non-competing chains. The Burning Issues Exchange offers the same intimate format but allows both retail and supplier attendees to self-select the group they will join by picking from a list of pre-determined discussion topics.
You do not need to be a member of NAG to attend. Members will receive priority access and discounted registration whenever available. Industry suppliers/manufacturers must secure a sponsorship to attend.
Speaker selection for this event is an intimate process between our content team and the board of directors for NAG Convenience. Speakers are selected from the convenience industry and volunteer their expertise. For this reason, speakers for hire/speaker bureaus are discouraged from contacting the content team.
